A collision led to AMST.Football.Club.AJAX getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. João Paulo Hoffmann hit a great ball. When Nuno Porto fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrelas da Colina's protests and gave Nuno Porto a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Olívio Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrelas da Colina's supporters rose to their feet, but Olívio Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reginaldo Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Tomás Cardoso made a huge save. Tomás Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Arce in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Moisés Valladares made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Donatello got free with José Augusto Botelho in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AMST.Football.Club.AJAX's Tomás Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Arce in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Olívio Arce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Cardoso. AMST.Football.Club.AJAX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olívio Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olívio Arce in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Sydney de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Olívio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Vides in the 78th minute of play. Olívio Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tomás Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Reginaldo Vides came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Estrelas da Colina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reginaldo Vides couldn't finish the play. If Moisés Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Donatello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Augusto Botelho came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Donatello slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 90th minute. Reginaldo Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
