Lenílson Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but João Adolfo Bueno made a huge save. Baixo FC's Roberto de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Barbosa in the 19th minute of play. If Mathias Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Time das estrelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Régis Palmeira hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lenílson Quintal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Adolfo Bueno. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Baixo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Novaes came free, but Roberto de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto de Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Luiz Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Roberto de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Time das estrelas. If Mathias Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Tande was the one to do the kick off. João Adolfo Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Tande went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. João Adolfo Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Quintal in the 57th minute of play. When Luís Gustavo Correia fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Time das estrelas's protests and gave Luís Gustavo Correia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Luís Gustavo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Adolfo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Tande in the 61st minute of the match. Lenílson Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. João Adolfo Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 67th minute of the match Jeremias Magalhães completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeremias Magalhães a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee gave Baixo FC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Régis Pombal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Time das estrelas's João Adolfo Bueno. 3-1. João Adolfo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Tande in the 76th minute of the match. If Mathias Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Time das estrelas getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Elder Vergílio hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Baixo FC's Mathias Tande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Adolfo Bueno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute Mathias Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Time das estrelas's Régis Palmeira got a free kick in the 85th minute. Régis Palmeira hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Régis Pombal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Adolfo Bueno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Tande in the 99th minute of play forced Time das estrelas's goalkeeper João Adolfo Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Baixo FC had won after a very even match.
