Marijuana F.C's Sílvio Luís Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William de Amorim in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Angelo Zonta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sílvio Luís Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Aguiar got free with Afonso Pinho in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 minutes, William de Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juricia EC and the Marijuana F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Juricia EC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. William de Amorim hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Angelo Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luís Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Zonta in the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Iuri Simões took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Afonso Pinho to make any attempt to save it. A nice corner shot did that Valério Pena got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sílvio Luís Abraão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mauro Quadros hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Sílvio da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sílvio Luís Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Pinho made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Emílio Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marijuana F.C! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Juricia EC. Valério Pena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sílvio Luís Abraão. 1-3. After the first half Juricia EC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Juricia EC's Angelo Zonta got a free kick in the 57th minute. Iuri Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Pinho having to interfere. Sílvio da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Zonta in the 64th minute of play forced Marijuana F.C's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Angelo Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Marijuana F.C's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio da Costa. Sílvio Luís Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When William de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Juricia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William de Amorim couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luís Abraão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio da Costa went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score.
