Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Barral MZ Club's Zhao Wei Xiang started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Goyania's Mané Leão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mané Leão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Goyania protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mané Leão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th minute, one of Goyania:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Goyania. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Barral MZ Club. Maurinho Meirelles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armandinho Esteves. 0-1. After 10 minutes, Bernardinho Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goyania and the Barral MZ Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armandinho Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Wei Xiang in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Guilherme Dracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goyania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barral MZ Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Goyania's Guilherme Dracena got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 28 played minutes Barral MZ Club got a freekick which was hit by Moises Sendoa. Benjamin Munhozs short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Gian Herger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 30th match minute, Barral MZ Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biggs Muralhas to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes, Zhao Wei Xiang made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Goyania's Armandinho Esteves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Zhao Wei Xiang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Barral MZ Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Munhoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Moises Sendoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barral MZ Club and the Goyania players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Carlos Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Maurinho Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barral MZ Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Zhao Wei Xiang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armandinho Esteves was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the game, Biggs Muralhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barral MZ Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goyania the free kick. When Biggs Muralhas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. The Barral MZ Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barral MZ Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
