Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Maranhense took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Alemquer FC's César Sá got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Leandro Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Alemquer FC booed when Irajai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Alemquer FC's Samuca Cearense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago de Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alemquer FC reached it. A collision led to Irajai getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nilson Baiano hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Alemquer FC's Geraldo Favoretto tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fernando Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Fabiano Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irajai. The audience was convinced that Fernando Maranhense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Cunha was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Fernando Maranhense might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabiano Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Maranhense ran back to his position shaking his head. When Célio Pernambucano fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alemquer FC's protests and gave Célio Pernambucano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Célio Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Irajai's Digo Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 32 minutes, Basílio Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alemquer FC and the Irajai players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alemquer FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Basílio Teixeira hit a great ball. Leandro Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago de Amorim having to interfere. Digo Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fabiano Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Irajai's goalkeeper Thiago de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Irajai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Thiago de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Sá in the 42nd minute of play. If Nilson Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell César Sá to make the kick off. Digo Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Fabiano Cunha made a huge save. Digo Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Digo Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Digo Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Fabiano Cunha made a huge save. Thiago de Amorim came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Alemquer FC's César Sá. But to his dismay, César Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With his leg Fabiano Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Irajai's Digo Dantas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Irajai's Thiago de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Sá in the 85th minute of play. Thiago de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Thiago de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
