Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristian Ribeiro started the match with the kick off. Adhemar Nunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Giovani Arce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Luís Fabiano Rossi sped through Tabu SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovani Arce. Giovani Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adhemar Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fabiano Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tabu SC's Giovani Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Tabu SC from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes, Desapregados's Alex Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giovani Arce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Desapregados reached it. Giovani Arce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adhemar Nunes in the 30th minute. Desapregados's Zé Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ribeiro in the 31st minute of play. Abel Cabral scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fabiano Rossi in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovani Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cristian Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute of the match, Adhemar Nunes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giovani Arce was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Abel Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Correia having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Desapregados's Adhemar Nunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovani Arce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

In the 56thth minute of the game Adhemar Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabu SC's Giovani Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Correia having to interfere. Cristiano Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Desapregados's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Tinoco came free, but Zé Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Desapregados's Adhemar Nunes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovani Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabu SC's goalkeeper Giovani Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Luiz Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Adhemar Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovani Arce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adhemar Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Adhemar Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Arce having to interfere. Tabu SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
