A collision led to Social F.C getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mathias Linhares hit a great ball. Luiz Fabiano da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Tepedino in the 8th minute of play. Emanuel Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Fabiano Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes, David Barral made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Social F.C's Luiz Fabiano da Mata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Fabiano Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Social F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Fantini couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fabiano da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. EC Carnaúba were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Social F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giovani Prestes took the corner. The corner led EC Carnaúba's Giovani Prestes to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Fabiano da Mata despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If David Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If David Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 56th minute, Luís Fabiano Tepedino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luiz Fabiano da Mata, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Social F.C's Luiz Fabiano da Mata got control of the ball when David Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, EC Carnaúba's Tiaguinho Netto got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Tepedino in the 71st minute of play forced Social F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, EC Carnaúba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Social F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Tepedino came free, but Luiz Fabiano da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded EC Carnaúba left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Social F.C.
