Jaime Peixoto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Silas Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Carlos Fernando Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Meira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 24th minute, Narciso Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geroki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carlos Fernando Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Meira having to make a save. Silas Prado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Guadrapas AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eliseu Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Abelardo Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Fernando Diniz's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Saraiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guadrapas AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geroki the free kick. After a rather tough play, Guadrapas AD's Perivaldo Saraiva got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Silas Prado made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match César Veloso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu Andrade skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Fernando Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Abelardo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Guadrapas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Meira to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Messias scored 0-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Meira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 66 minutes, Gonçalo Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guadrapas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perivaldo Saraiva hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Abelardo Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenílson Alves in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abelardo Meira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 76th minute of the match, Carlos Fernando Diniz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abelardo Meira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gonçalo Sabóia scored 2-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Messias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 84th playminute. In the 98th minute Carlos Fernando Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Guadrapas AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Geroki were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
