After a rather tough play, VARZEA's Evaristo Guimarães got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Eeng Hermawan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Tony Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Eeng Hermawan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when César Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Hermínio Meira's late challenge caught a VARZEA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Meira helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guadrapas AD! The referee gave VARZEA a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chico Duarte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guadrapas AD's Abelardo Meira. 0-1. When Silas Prado came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Guadrapas AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silas Prado couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, VARZEA's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Prado came free, but Eeng Hermawan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Gonçalo Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to VARZEA getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tony Schmidt hit a great ball. Renato Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gonçalo Sabóia hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. João Paulo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Meira having to interfere. If Renato Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Gonçalo Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Renato Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guadrapas AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Renato Sabóia scored to the left of an out of position Abelardo Meira, making the score, 0-2. Eeng Hermawan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Guadrapas AD's Abelardo Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Sabóia in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Guadrapas AD got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Saraiva. Gonçalo Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eeng Hermawan having to interfere. Evaristo Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, VARZEA's Renato Sabóia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Meira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Renato Sabóia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Meira was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Renato Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Abelardo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Guimarães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Meira having to make a save. The Guadrapas AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VARZEA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
