The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ronaldinho Monteiro's late challenge caught a Dark Side Rock Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldinho Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes INTERNAZIONALE got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Monteiro. In the 3rd minute of the match Ian Mello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiburcio Quintun skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the INTERNAZIONALE defense, Ronaldão Corrêa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Quintun. The INTERNAZIONALE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Quintun should have stopped the shot. Ian de Brito struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Luisinho Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTERNAZIONALE. With his leg Luisinho Matorin managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when INTERNAZIONALE's Douglas Linhares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Egídio Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Matorin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Douglas Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisinho Matorin was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. If Ian de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dark Side Rock Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Egídio Maranhense scored to the left of an out of position Luisinho Matorin, making the score, 2-1. In the last second Luisinho Matorin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Douglas Linhares in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Gaúcho in the 38th minute of play forced Dark Side Rock Club's goalkeeper Luisinho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Matorin having to interfere. If Douglas Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dark Side Rock Club's goalkeeper Luisinho Matorin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldão Corrêa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dark Side Rock Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ian de Brito came free, but Luisinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Ronaldinho Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTERNAZIONALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Douglas Linhares notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Dark Side Rock Club's Luisinho Matorin. Luisinho Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dark Side Rock Club's Luisinho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Linhares in the 72nd minute of play. Douglas Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Matorin having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, INTERNAZIONALE's Douglas Linhares made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisinho Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 minutes, Ian de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTERNAZIONALE and the Dark Side Rock Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes INTERNAZIONALE got a freekick which was hit by Ian de Brito. Tiburcio Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Corrêa in the 86th minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Douglas Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dark Side Rock Club's Luisinho Matorin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
