When Arkadiusz Niedziela fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TRABUCO F. C's protests and gave Arkadiusz Niedziela a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes TRABUCO F. C got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Niedziela. After some careless play in the Torpedo F. C. defense, Perivaldo Motta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Borges. The Torpedo F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Borges should have stopped the shot. If Perivaldo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Vianna in the 15th minute of play forced TRABUCO F. C's goalkeeper Manfredo Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edson Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Albertinho Cosme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torpedo F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TRABUCO F. C the free kick. In the 40th minute, Albertinho Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Perivaldo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisinho Goiano took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Borges. Richard Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Perivaldo Motta made the kick off in the second half. Hernani Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Borges having to interfere. If Perivaldo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivaldo Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Richard Borges made a huge save. TRABUCO F. C were furious when Arkadiusz Niedziela was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 59th minute, one of TRABUCO F. C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TRABUCO F. C. The referee gave Torpedo F. C. a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faustão Hoffmann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TRABUCO F. C's Manfredo Breckenfeld. 1-2. TRABUCO F. C's Reginaldo Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torpedo F. C.'s Richard Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Torpedo F. C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to TRABUCO F. C getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Zé Augusto Leão hit a great ball. TRABUCO F. C's Manfredo Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Vianna in the 82nd minute of play. Luisinho Goiano had several of the Torpedo F. C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Richard Borges as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Reginaldo Viana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 96th minute Hernani Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Goiano hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
