Teodoro Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionísio de Carvalho in the 42nd minute. If Tibúrcio Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. Celso's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionísio de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionísio de Carvalho in the 92nd minute of the match. Dionísio de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Teodoro Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celso.
