After a rather tough play, Muricoca's Pedro Albuquerque got a free kick in the 6th minute. Conrado Medeiros scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustão Arósio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Muricoca's Faustão Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Medeiros in the 17th minute of play. Elder Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Conrado Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muricoca's Faustão Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Willian Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Faustão Arósio. Muricoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 26 minutes, Ramiro de Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MG futebol clube and the Muricoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Soeiro in the 32nd minute of play forced MG futebol clube's goalkeeper Korneliusz Sowa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Cruz took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustão Arósio. Faustão Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Tande in the 39th minute of play forced Muricoca's goalkeeper Faustão Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Cuesta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustão Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half MG futebol clube were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Medeiros made a kick off. Faustão Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustão Arósio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Medeiros went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When Muricoca's Toninho Soeiro in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MG futebol clube's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Muricoca's Faustão Arósio got control of the ball when Willian Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Luizinho Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muricoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MG futebol clube the free kick. The supporters of MG futebol clube booed when Muricoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MG futebol clube's Lauro Orbiz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Toninho Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Korneliusz Sowa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Toninho Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Sowa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 played minutes Muricoca got a freekick which was hit by Elder Severo. Muricoca's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Willian Cruz 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Ulysses Quirino's late challenge caught a MG futebol clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulysses Quirino helped the player get up and apologised. Nilmar Catarinense hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Toninho Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Sowa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korneliusz Sowa having to interfere. When Luiz Paulo Tande came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the MG futebol clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Tande couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Willian Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faustão Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Medeiros in the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Conrado Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Faustão Arósio. The goal made the score 0-7.
