A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Jeferson de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Xavier in the 15th minute of play forced Kitini FC's goalkeeper Kléber Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Rômulo Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Kitini FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Xavier came free, but Kléber Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Antônio Carlos Maciel could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Nestor Baiano however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kléber Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Aílton Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aílton Paulista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Aílton Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Palmeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nestor Baiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Júnior Palmeira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Júnior Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bastos FC's goalkeeper Nestor Baiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Daniel Machado made the kick off in the second half. Rômulo Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Kléber Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Baiano came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Kitini FC's Júnior Palmeira. But to his dismay, Júnior Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bastos FC's Rômulo Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavinho Valadares's late challenge caught a Bastos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavinho Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. 61 minutes into the game, Rômulo Xavier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kléber Eger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Kitini FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Flavinho Valadares hit a great ball. Aílton Paulista struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Kléber Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bastos FC. Júnior Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Baiano having to interfere. Kléber Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Machado in the 80th minute of the match. Claudinei da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Júnior Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kitini FC had won after a very even match.
