The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciro Tinoco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute, Lauro Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alfredinho Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The Itapitanga FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
