In the 29th minute Horácio Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalmo da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalmo da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of P13 TEAM booed when Lone Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Lone Star's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Hermes came free, but Adalmo da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalmo da Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horácio Azevedo went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Washington Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Adalmo da Fonseca. Lone Star's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Dinei Martins's late challenge caught a P13 TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinei Martins helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of P13 TEAM booed when Lone Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Ediberto Albuquerque sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lone Star's Adalmo da Fonseca didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Horácio Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adalmo da Fonseca was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half P13 TEAM were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamílton Pinheiro made a kick off. Adalmo da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Washington Hermes sent off a good shot on target. Washington Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalmo da Fonseca having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Horácio Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. P13 TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horácio Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramón Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Fernandez in the 68th minute of play. Horácio Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinei Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Hermes got free with Adalmo da Fonseca in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute Horácio Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalmo da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. P13 TEAM's Washington Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, P13 TEAM's Sílvio Luiz Hermes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adalmo da Fonseca. Adalmo da Fonseca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the match was over P13 TEAM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lone Star throughout the match.
