In the 10th minute Daniel Dordea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Abraham Lincoln was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ABV E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almadina SS the free kick. Elias Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Dordea in the 13th minute of play. After 16 played minutes ABV E.C got a freekick which was hit by Michel Salgado. 1-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Daniel Dordea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Michel Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Dordea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, ABV E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Lucian to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Ernani de Amorim sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ABV E.C's Elias Macedo didn't even have to move. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Elias Macedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Elias Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Dordea, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Luís Fernando Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Quadros having to interfere. Michel Salgado hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fernando Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fernando Lima in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Quadros saved Almadina SS from getting behind. With a little luck, Almadina SS's Gilvan Quadros got control of the ball when Luís Fernando Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Almadina SS booed when ABV E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Chicão de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almadina SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Chicão de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Bultes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gilvan Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ABV E.C. If Daniel Dordea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Walmir Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Dordea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmir Cruz's shot from long distance in the 91st minute was not bad at all, but Almadina SS's Gilvan Quadros knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a rather tough play, Almadina SS's 彭真兴 got a free kick in the 91st minute. Gilvan Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Lima in the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Almadina SS were the better team. Almadina SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
