Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonathan Ribeiro kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Fernandez was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Dário Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laginha's supporters rose to their feet, but Dário Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dé Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bocoroca SS's Jonathan Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Laginha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Bocoroca SS's Marco Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Costa in the 19th minute of play. Jonathan Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Cristian Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bocoroca SS. Jonathan Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ribeiro in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristian Fernandez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Laginha defense, Dé Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Fernandez. The Laginha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Fernandez should have stopped the shot. After 38 played minutes, Bocoroca SS's Arthur Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristian Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bocoroca SS reached it. In the 40th match minute, Bocoroca SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Neves to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd match minute, Laginha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Dé Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Fernandez having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrézinho Costa to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Dé Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bocoroca SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When %teams%'s Andrézinho Costa was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 61 minutes into the game. Marco Almeida was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Dário Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Almeida having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Wanderson Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrézinho Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrézinho Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Chico Sena hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Edinho Lara's late challenge caught a Laginha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Edinho Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Andrézinho Costa came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Laginha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Costa couldn't finish the play. Laginha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
