In a very dangerous position, a player in Coutinho SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Golden Boy a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by 程洲宽, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Coutinho SC's João Pedro Marinho. 1-1. Celso Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Robert Ersman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Robert Ersman came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Coutinho SC's Luciano Saldanha. But to his dismay, Luciano Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 54th match minute, Coutinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Valadares to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, one of Coutinho SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Coutinho SC. Celso Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Robert Ersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matheus Secco got free with João Pedro Marinho in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Golden Boy booed when Coutinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matheus Secco got free with João Pedro Marinho in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Ersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Ersman having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Golden Boy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
