Carlos Augusto Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Hoffmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Nacamura SS's zone, Noel Hopson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Zonta came out of the goal and Noel Hopson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Fabiano Hoffmann took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Frédson Zonta to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the match, Nacamura SS's goalkeeper Frédson Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel Hopson. Thanks to some nice moves Noel Hopson could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Frédson Zonta however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto de Medeiros to make the kick off. Patrick Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Zonta having to interfere. Nacamura SS's Frédson Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Toscano in the 58th minute of play. Frédson Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Hopson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Gonçalo de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glauco Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frédson Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Hopson in the 73rd minute of the match. Toninho Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Noel Hopson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Nacamura SS got a freekick which was hit by André Luís de Sena. Patrick Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Hopson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Frédson Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Zonta came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Colorados Roxos's Noel Hopson. But to his dismay, Noel Hopson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Colorados Roxos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
