An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Valadares in the 9th minute of play forced Rancharia AD's goalkeeper Váldson Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanderson Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Ronaldão Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wiliam Pena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Lima got free with Wiliam Pena in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caio do Vale hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Egídio Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rancharia AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Araticum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Maciel came free, but Wiliam Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Egídio Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wiliam Pena. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Denílson Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Pena having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Maciel in the 31st minute of play forced Araticum FC's goalkeeper Wiliam Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Clemente Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araticum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Váldson Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Velloso in the 35th minute of the match. Rancharia AD were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Araticum FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ronaldão Porto took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Araticum FC's goalie and right to Egídio Lima. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Araticum FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 44 played minutes Joel Maciel rounded Araticum FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Maciel to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Egídio Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Egídio Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rancharia AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Joel Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Joel Maciel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rancharia AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Egídio Lima sped through Araticum FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wiliam Pena. Egídio Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rancharia AD fully deserved thier win.
