They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Emanuel Lobonț scored 0-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Renato Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Igatemi AD booed when Jequie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Renato Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Majkowski in the 59th minute of the match. Emanuel Lobonț in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Igatemi AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jequie the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Lobonț kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Renato Meireles. That made the score 0-5 in the 69 minute of play. After 73 minutes, Emanuel Lobonț made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Jequie's Paulo Renato Meireles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Lobonț succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 76th playminute. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Emanuel Lobonț got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Igatemi AD's Wladyslaw Majkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Wladyslaw Majkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Igatemi AD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jequie.
