Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlinhos Neto made the kick off which started today's match. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artur Coutinho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 13th minute, Tocaya's Carlinhos Neto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Reynaldo Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson da Fonseca in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Humberto Xavier notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tocaya's Reynaldo Moreno. Reynaldo Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fluminense Football Club's Artur Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo de Almeida in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Aloísio Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tocaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fluminense Football Club the free kick. Aloísio Cardozo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Fluminense Football Club's Régis de Lara got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Luís Eduardo Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fluminense Football Club's protests and gave Luís Eduardo Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Eduardo de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tocaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Carlinhos Neto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alfredinho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 40 in the game by Carlinhos Neto from a close distance when the talented Artur Coutinho managed to make a qualified save. Fluminense Football Club's players were relieved. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Alfredinho Damião got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson da Fonseca made a kick off. Reynaldo Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Alfredinho Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Fluminense Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Neto came free, but Artur Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Coutinho having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Eduardo de Almeida notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Fluminense Football Club's Artur Coutinho. Artur Coutinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Humberto Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelson da Fonseca during the 92nd minute.
