Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Almir Vale got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Pimenta in the 9th minute of play forced Vinhaca's goalkeeper Eusébio Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vinhaca's zone, Duda de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Abraão came out of the goal and Duda de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Pimenta in the 12th minute of play. Almir Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Gil Saraiva made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Vale in the 17th minute of play forced Maioba's goalkeeper Gil Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maioba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Almir Vale scored to the left of an out of position Gil Saraiva, making the score, 1-0. If Gil Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Vale in the 24th minute of play forced Maioba's goalkeeper Gil Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrézinho Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Almir Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almir Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Saraiva having to interfere. If Alberto Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Vale in the 45th minute of play forced Maioba's goalkeeper Gil Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Pimenta was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Diniz in the 52nd minute of play forced Maioba's goalkeeper Gil Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinhaca's Eusébio Urbano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Conrado Sabóia in the 54 minute of the game. Raúl Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Vinhaca's Almir Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Saraiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Almir Vale struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gil Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinhaca. Gil Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Saraiva having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maioba's zone, Gil Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Saraiva came out of the goal and Gil Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Almir Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Saraiva was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Eusébio Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Pimenta in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, João Augusto Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrézinho Trigo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Maioba got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Furtado. If Alberto Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eusébio Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Vinhaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Almir Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gil Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil Saraiva came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Vinhaca's Eusébio Urbano. But to his dismay, Eusébio Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vinhaca had played much better football throughout.
