Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Almir do Vale got the match started through his kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Ipuarana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patente:s goal. Ronaldinho Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ipuarana getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gugu Neves hit a great ball. Ronaldinho Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Baptista in the 39th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Abraão hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Patente's Ronaldinho Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Abreu in the 76th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Lara having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, Ipuarana's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Ribeiro came free, but José Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldinho Botelho came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipuarana's Almir do Vale. But to his dismay, Almir do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 91st match minute, Ipuarana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Aílton do Valle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Lara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Gilberto Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Gugu Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Ronaldinho Botelho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
