Elder Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. If Gualter Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Gonçalves hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Luck Stars F.C's Luiz Gustavo Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibúrcio Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. César Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elder Pinheiro went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Elder Pinheiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving César Magalhães. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Elder Pinheiro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised César Magalhães 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Luck Stars F.C's zone, Elder Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Magalhães came out of the goal and Elder Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Elder Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D. Guarulhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elder Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elder Pinheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. César Magalhães came out and tried to block the shot, but Elder Pinheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute, Olavo Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. César Magalhães stood somewhat misplaced when Elder Pinheiro came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Pinheiro in the 44th minute of play forced Luck Stars F.C's goalkeeper César Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elder Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. César Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Guarulhos.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavo Macedo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Luck Stars F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Vidal came free, but César Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olavo Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Luck Stars F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olavo Macedo couldn't finish the play. A.D. Guarulhos's Tibúrcio Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save A.D. Guarulhos from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Nilson Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Alcântara got free with Tibúrcio Gaspar in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes, Olavo Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luck Stars F.C and the A.D. Guarulhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olavo Macedo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Luck Stars F.C's César Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Valadares in the 77th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Nilson Lucas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luck Stars F.C and the A.D. Guarulhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nilson Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. César Magalhães came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Guarulhos's Dedê Valadares. But to his dismay, Dedê Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Gualter Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.D. Guarulhos fully deserved thier win.
