After taking down the ball on Avare's corner Erasmo Soares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sílvio Luiz Senna quite easily take care of the ball. If Egídio da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, S.Estrelas's Sílvio Luiz Senna got control of the ball when Dário de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raúl Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Avare's Erasmo Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes S.Estrelas got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Donatello. When the final whistle sounded Avare left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.Estrelas.
