Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tião Machado got the match started through his kick off. Rubinho Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes, Gilmar Ferraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moselo FC and the BA Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, one of Moselo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Moselo FC. Marcus Prata shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Guto Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tião Machado in the 17th minute of the match. Jorge do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Moselo FC's Fábio Freire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guto Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio Freire got free with Guto Silva in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Machado in the 31st minute of play forced BA Clube's goalkeeper Guto Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. Jorge do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilson Montenegro was the one to do the kick off. Jorge do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Montenegro in the 52nd minute of the match. Jorge do Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilson Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Moselo FC's Elói Paes got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jorge do Nascimento was a little too slow when Gilson Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. If Fábio Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, BA Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Machado came free, but Guto Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Moselo FC's Tião Machado made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guto Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tião Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perivaldo Tande during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Moselo FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Perivaldo Tande hit a great ball. Rubinho Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Moselo FC booed when BA Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tião Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Moselo FC's Fábio Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guto Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in BA Clube's zone, Tião Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Silva came out of the goal and Tião Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
