Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabinho Costa got the match started through his kick off. After 24 minutes, Giovanni Custódio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Felizardo AD and the Itapeacu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Itapeacu's zone, Kaká Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Paiva came out of the goal and Kaká Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Gonçalo Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Cipriano de Salles sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Itapeacu's Marco Paiva didn't even have to move. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

William de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Cesinha Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapeacu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaká Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
