After 8 minutes, Mitar Škaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Club Corinthians and the Defensores de Argus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mitar Škaro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Chicão Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cafu Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sport Club Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafu Maciel couldn't finish the play. Léo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Sport Club Corinthians's Arlindo Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Vito Arruda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chicão Massa. Vito Arruda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Vito Arruda took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão Massa. Chicão Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vito Arruda got free with Chicão Massa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Renatinho Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sport Club Corinthians's Chicão Massa got control of the ball when Caetano Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chicão Massa made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ciro Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. Cafu Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Cafu Maciel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léo Borges. Defensores de Argus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu Maciel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Augusto Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Sport Club Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Antunes.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cafu Siqueira made a kick off. Léo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chicão Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The throw-in from Marcelo Quadros in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Club Corinthians's Ronaldinho Valladares. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu Maciel in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léo Borges saved Defensores de Argus from getting behind. A collision led to Defensores de Argus getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Renatinho Fantini hit a great ball. Arlindo Diniz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Léo Borges skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 75 minutes into the match, Sport Club Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Fantini came free, but Chicão Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Vito Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Defensores de Argus's Léo Borges got control of the ball when Arlindo Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the last second Léo Borges throw himself and got hold of the ball when Arlindo Diniz in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Defensores de Argus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Cafu Maciel scored to the left of an out of position Léo Borges, making the score, 3-3. 87 minutes into the match, Sport Club Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Fantini came free, but Chicão Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Arruda during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vito Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Cafu Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Chicão Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlindo Diniz in the 97th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
