In the 14th minute, Martins F.C's Dino Sabóia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Eduardo Simões. Luís Eduardo Simões yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cícero da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Motta having to interfere. Carlinhos Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlinhos Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 22 minutes into the game, José Paulo Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martins F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferradas the free kick. After 23 played minutes Martins F.C got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Antunes. Ferradas's Durvalino Valladares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Martins F.C. 25 minutes into the game, one of Martins F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gabriel Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero da Mata's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Gabriel Motta came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferradas's Cícero da Mata. But to his dismay, Cícero da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gabriel Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Rezende in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Amílton Rezende made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Carlinhos Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Cícero da Matas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Gabriel Motta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th minute Amílton Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zé Paulo Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ferradas booed when Martins F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder de Sena hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Cícero da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gabriel Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Martins F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Rezende came free, but Gabriel Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Amílton Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
