SPORT CLUBE PERNA-DE-PAU's 徐峰海 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Araújo in the 19th minute of play. If Zenon Sochacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 徐峰海 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenon Sochacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Santos having to interfere. When Zenon Sochacki came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SPORT CLUBE PERNA-DE-PAU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenon Sochacki couldn't finish the play. Josué Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Augusto Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Severo in the 72nd minute of play. Carlos Augusto Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenon Sochacki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Augusto Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Zenon Sochacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Santos having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SPORT CLUBE PERNA-DE-PAU fully deserved thier win.
