An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Furlan in the 29th minute of play forced Morrao SS's goalkeeper Afonsinho Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Morrao SS's Afonsinho Linares got control of the ball when Juninho Favoretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolfo Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Afonsinho Linares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The wind increased when Albertino Matorin made the kick off in the second half. Dinei de Godoi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. When Glauco Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipameri's protests and gave Glauco Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, one of Ipameri:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ipameri. Tião de Andrade was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Matorin in the 71st minute of play forced Ipameri's goalkeeper Dinei de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
