In the 33rd minute, Samuel Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dedê Madureira hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Caxambu's Charles Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Madureira in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Dedê Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trovão F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedê Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 minutes, Raphael Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. Caxambu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Dedê Madureira scored to the left of an out of position Charles Carneiro, making the score, 1-3. Nilson Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Dedê Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Carneiro was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
