After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dedê Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trovão F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedê Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Alvorada SS's Eurico Prado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Madureira in the 19th minute of play forced Alvorada SS's goalkeeper Nilton Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trovão F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Evis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Many of Trovão F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Trovão F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but Alvorada SS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
