Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Fernando Berger kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Ciro Alcântara fired a really elegant long shot, but Walmyr Paraíba threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Facao's Walmyr Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Ribeiro in the 6th minute of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Luís Fernando Berger sped through Facao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walmyr Paraíba. Luís Fernando Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Walmyr Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olívio Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walmyr Paraíba. Facao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Fausto de Carvalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Luís Fernando Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paranapanema's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fernando Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th match minute, Facao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Britto to maneuver through the defense. João Augusto de Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Paraíba having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Facao's goalkeeper Walmyr Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fernando Berger. Walmyr Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Ribeiro in the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Facao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. André Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Paraíba having to interfere. João Augusto de Godoy struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Walmyr Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paranapanema. Fausto de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Urbano to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Berger in the 53rd minute of play forced Facao's goalkeeper Walmyr Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Fausto de Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmyr Paraíba. Facao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto de Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 58 minutes into the match, Fausto de Carvalho notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Facao's Walmyr Paraíba. Walmyr Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Paraíba having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luís Fernando Berger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmyr Paraíba was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. João Augusto de Godoy took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmyr Paraíba. Walmyr Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Luís Fernando Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walmyr Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Paranapanema booed when Facao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmyr Paraíba came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Paranapanema's Fausto de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Fausto de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Paranapanema's Luís Fernando Berger in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Facao's goalie prevented a goal. João Augusto de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Walmyr Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paranapanema's Luís Fernando Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
