Thomás Tróia's late challenge caught a Loggz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Loggz's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 played minutes Munguba AD got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo de Alcântara. In the 90th minute, Leonardo de Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Munguba AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Nando Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Sá in the 96th minute of play. Munguba AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
