Franklin Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Enéas Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Democrata SL's Luís Paulo Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Tuyuty booed when Democrata SL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luís Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Luís Paulo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgílio Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Tepedino having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Tuyuty's Alfredinho Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Guilherme Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Alfredinho Miranda took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Luís Guilherme Tepedino to make any attempt to save it. Virgílio Pimenta might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Guilherme Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgílio Pimenta ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgílio Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. Tuyuty's Enéas Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Teixeira in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Virgílio Pimenta sped through Democrata SL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Guilherme Tepedino. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Tuyuty:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Democrata SL:s goal. Luís Guilherme Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Franklin Cavalcante could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Enéas Magalhães however easily saved by the left post. When Evert Gustavsson fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuyuty's protests and gave Evert Gustavsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Tuyuty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Democrata SL's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Tepedino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Teixeira in the 87th minute of play forced Tuyuty's goalkeeper Enéas Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Virgílio Pimenta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Guilherme Tepedino was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Enzo Adriano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2.
