Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Robinho Toledo made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, XV de Julho's César Trigo got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Fonceca FC's Enio Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oséas Guedes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. César Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cláudio Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enio Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oséas Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, XV de Julho's José Alves got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Oséas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Oséas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Braga in the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Toledo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oséas Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, César Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nildo Severo to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, XV de Julho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Paes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Fonceca FC's Lucas Lucas tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Oséas Guedes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enio Braga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. The goalkeeper, Oséas Guedes, was totally fooled by Fonceca FC's Lucas Lucas, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind XV de Julho's goalkeeper Oséas Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Enio Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fonceca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 82nd minute Robinho Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, XV de Julho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enio Braga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Robinho Toledo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Fonceca FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Enio Braga came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Fonceca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Braga couldn't finish the play. Fonceca FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
