Gabriel FC's Fausto Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Soares in the 75th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Luzelia FC's goalkeeper Renato Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel do Valle. Ezequiel do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Renato Madureira made a huge save. In the 92nd minute Almir da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gabriel FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
