Spectators: 5260 (Terracing: 4200, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claudinho Quadros kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Luizinho Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Geovani Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 6 minutes, Geovani Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charitas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilson Paraíba came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Charitas AD's Luizinho Custódio. But to his dismay, Luizinho Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute, Fábio Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kauã Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Geovani Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charitas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Charitas AD's Kauã Palmeira got control of the ball when Fábio Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Charitas AD fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Charitas AD's Geovani Urbano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. John Deere FC made a substitution. Vivaldo Brasil replaced Genílson Nunes. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Gerber was the one to do the kick off. Charitas AD's Sydney de Sousa got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Sydney de Sousa off the ground. Sydney de Sousa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Charitas AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Figueiredo came free, but Kauã Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kauã Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Kléber Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The John Deere FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 75 minutes into the match, Charitas AD's Percy Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilson Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Luiz Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. John Deere FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charitas AD the free kick. After 76 played minutes John Deere FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Toledo. Geovani Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Gilson Paraíba made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Geovani Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charitas AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. José Vítor Sarmento's late challenge caught a John Deere FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Vítor Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Charitas AD getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. José Vítor Sarmento hit a great ball. Kléber Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauã Palmeira having to interfere. Geovani Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gilson Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Geovani Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charitas AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilson Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th match minute, John Deere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Toledo to maneuver through the defense. John Deere FC's Gilson Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save John Deere FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Charitas AD's Luizinho Custódio got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind John Deere FC's goalkeeper Gilson Paraíba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Charitas AD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Charitas AD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
