Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rony Urbano got the match started through his kick off. Cavalos's Virgílio Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorival Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rony Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dorival Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Madureira struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Afonsinho Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavalos. When Zé Carlos Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Cavalos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Zé Carlos Montenegro scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Carlos Montenegro made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Cauã Gonçalves made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cavalos's Dorival Passos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 minutes, Josué Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nina FC and the Cavalos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cavalos booed when Nina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedé Zanette's late challenge caught a Nina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedé Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. Rony Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Passos having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cavalos had won after a very even match.
