Dedê Tande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pedro Leão having to make a save. Alfredinho Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Zé Pedro Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Peixoto in the 12th minute of the match. Vinícius de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alfredinho Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Breja AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Peixoto couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Breja AD's goalkeeper Ezequiel Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius de Sousa. Vinícius de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ezequiel Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Moncao's Vinícius de Sousa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alfredinho Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breja AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Pedro Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vinícius de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ezequiel Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Moncao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Passos to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Negri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Breja AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Peixoto had several of the Moncao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Zé Pedro Leão as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dedê Tande struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Zé Pedro Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Breja AD. Flavinho Barbosa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Dedê Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinícius de Sousa took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Castro. Ezequiel Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alfredinho Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Leão having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Moncao fans cheered their team off the field, for while Breja AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
