With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Sá in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valério Paraibano saved Rogger FC from getting behind. Wellington Prado hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Abelardo Bertassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmir Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Walmir Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Cruz in the 11th minute of the match. Raphael Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Walmir Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto França struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Valério Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardim Itu FC. Valério Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto França in the 20th minute of the match. Valério Paraibano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Jardim Itu FC's Enéas do Nascimento got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raphael Cruz to make the kick off. Carlos Alberto França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Valério Paraibano made a huge save. With a little luck, Rogger FC's Valério Paraibano got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto França tried to sneak it across the goal line. Murillo Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Rogério Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Valério Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Alberto França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Valério Paraibano made a huge save. If Carlos Alberto França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Sá in the 81st minute of play. Jardim Itu FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Rogger FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ramiro Ortiz took the corner. 86 minutes into the match, Rogger FC's goalkeeper Valério Paraibano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto França. In the 88th minute Arnaldo Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Bertassi in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmir Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rogger FC's zone, Carlos Alberto França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério Paraibano came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Paraibano having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jardim Itu FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
