Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Belmiro de Castro made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Dorian Paraíba fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 8th minute Belmiro de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salgada EC's Dorian Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorian Paraíba in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Belmiro de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerônimo Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Daniel Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Grêmio GBPA's Hélder Zanette shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandrinho Albuquerque came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grêmio GBPA reached it. In the 26th minute, Bruninho de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Grêmio GBPA's Danilo Linares in action when he in the 28th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ulisses Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sandrinho Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41st play minutes Leandro Prado shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sandrinho Albuquerque and just under the crossbar into goal. Salgada EC's Dorian Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorian Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Salgada EC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jerônimo Novaes hit a great ball. Sandrinho Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Salgada EC's Sandrinho Albuquerque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Salgada EC from getting a goal against them. Leandro Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sandrinho Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorian Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Silvinho Maciel struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Daniel Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salgada EC. A collision led to Grêmio GBPA getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Benê Lopez hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Dorian Paraíba put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Paraense. In the 79th minute Dorian Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ediberto Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Daniel Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Bezerra in the 90th minute of the match. Daniel Paraense came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Salgada EC's Jerônimo Novaes. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Grêmio GBPA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
