Raúl Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Led Zeppelin Rock Clube's zone, Cauan da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráusio Fernandez came out of the goal and Cauan da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráusio Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cauan da Rocha scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráusio Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolas Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raúl Meirelles in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, José Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráusio Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Raúl Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Raúl Meirelles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolas Penha. Raúl Meirelles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cauan da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, José Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maruanum's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cauan da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Cauan da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maruanum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauan da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Fernando Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Penha having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Dagoberto Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Maruanum's Cauan da Rocha in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan da Rocha couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Gustavo Urbano during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Led Zeppelin Rock Clube getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Urbano hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Thiago Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dráusio Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Maruanum walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
