But to his dismay, Válter Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, ROS F. C.'s William Santos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jairo Meirelles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nilmar Passos's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Válter Alcântara notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of ROS F. C.'s Jairo Meirelles. Jairo Meirelles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to ROS F. C. getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Cristian Tande hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Thomás Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Wanderson Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wanderson Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ROS F. C. booed when Sofre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Batista during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sofre's Leonardo Batista got a free kick in the 90th minute. Silvinho Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sofre played a much better game than ROS F. C. and deserved their victory. The ROS F. C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
