Romário Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Carioca in the 4th minute of play. When Esterao's Hugo Carioca in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye flavicosa's goalie prevented a goal. Fernandinho Gerber hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Christian do Nascimento hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Romário Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Carioca's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Romário Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luizão Reis sped through flavicosa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romário Teixeira. 25 minutes into the match, flavicosa's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Carioca came free, but Romário Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Agenor Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Esterao's Ernani Aguiar got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ernesto Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel da Silveira in the 38th minute. Romário Teixeira came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Esterao's Luizão Reis. But to his dismay, Luizão Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luizão Antunes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. Luizão Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Romário Teixeira made a huge save. Luizão Reis succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Luizão Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romário Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Carioca's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Hugo Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Romário Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Hugo Carioca took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Romário Teixeira to make any attempt to save it. Agenor Donato got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 77th minute, Agenor Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizão Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Romário Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, flavicosa's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Carioca came free, but Romário Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luizão Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Mendes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Luizão Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romário Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When the match was over Esterao could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than flavicosa throughout the match.
