Cabore SC's Romeu Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu de Amaral in the 39th minute of play. When Armandinho Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabore SC's protests and gave Armandinho Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cabore SC's Armandinho Mineiro got a free kick in the 40th minute.
