Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) João Pedro Dracena made the kick off and thus started the match. William Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Dracena in the 3rd minute of play. When Jonas Pena came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Barbosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Pena couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, João Pedro Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Pena in the 14th minute of play forced Josezinho's goalkeeper William Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barbosa's Jonas Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, João Pedro Dracena made a precise shot to the right of William Damião. Josezinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jonas Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th match minute, Josezinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Meireles to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, João Pedro Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Damião. Josezinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. João Pedro Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. William Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Damião came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Barbosa's Jonas Pena. But to his dismay, Jonas Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jeremias Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Josezinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barbosa were winning 0-4.
Charles Catarinense's late challenge caught a Josezinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Catarinense helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 56 minutes, Jonas Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualter Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Damião having to interfere. If Charles Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Pedro Dracena succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 81st playminute. 89 minutes into the match, Barbosa's Jonas Pena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Damião narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charles Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Damião having to make a save. João Pedro Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Damião having to interfere. Dedé Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
